WHY THIS MATTERS
525 Kitchen exists because too many good ideas and good people get stuck before they ever have a chance to grow. - In our region, many communities lack consistent access to fresh, locally prepared food, and aspiring food entrepreneurs don't have welcoming spaces to learn. - By providing affordable access to a licensed commercial kitchen, practical support, and a place to start, 525 Kitchen helps farmers add value to what they produce - Our kitchen gives new entrepreneurs a realistic path into the food economy, and increases access to locally made food in a community that needs it. - We are an inclusive kitchen that welcomes individuals with different levels of abilities and a love for local food! Everyone belongs in this kitchen. We welcome individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels. If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to meet you where you are. |
